"Fossil Fools Day" Protest in North Carolina and U.K.
According to a April 1, 2008, news release by Rising Tide North America, part of an international network protesting global warming and coal-fired power plants, protesters locked themselves to bulldozers at the Cliffside Coal Plant expansion project, located 50 miles outside of Charlotte, North Carolina, as well blockaded the offices of E-on in Nottingham, United Kingdom.
