Environmental Science & Policy Career Forum Mar. 28 Considering A Career in Environmental Science and Policy? Experts Tell All March 28 UNC Asheville to Host Panel Discussion on Environmental Science and Policy Careers A panel of local experts will discuss environmental science and policy careers from 4 to 6 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union, Mountain Suites. The free event is sponsored by UNC Asheville’s Career Center and the Office of Academic and Student Affairs. Panelists include Brian Cole, field supervisor at the Asheville office of the United States Fish and Wildlife Service; Eva Hernandez, campaign organizer of the Dogwood Alliance; Carolina McCready, development and outreach coordinator of the Latino Advocacy Coalition; Lindsay Moody, Asheville satellite office outreach coordinator of the Science House at N.C. State University; and Ben Prater, ecologist with the Southern Appalachian Biodiversity Project. Panel moderators are Kevin Moorhead, UNC Asheville environmental studies professor and chair, and Tandy Solomon, coordinator of Asheville’s Green Urban Land Trust.
