Dogwood Alliance Targets OfficeMax
Dogwood Alliance is calling on its supporters to converge on OfficeMax stores across the U.S. on March 23, 2006. The action is intended to pressure the company to stop purchasing paper from endangered forests. "Companies like OfficeMax are trashing our forests by allowing its biggest suppliers like International Paper and Boise to continue with business-as-usual destructive forestry practices," said a Dogwood Alliance announcement.
