DOGWOOD ALLIANCE ACTION TO PRESERVE SOUTHERN FORESTS

Dear Friend,

I wanted to tell you about an organization working hard to preserve the South's incredible forests.

The Dogwood Alliance - an Asheville-based group of which I'm a member - has launched an important campaign to get OfficeMax to sell environmentally friendly products that do not lead to the destruction of endangered Southern forests.

Because of the Dogwood Alliance's efforts, hundreds of thousands of acres of Southern forests can be better protected - and future generations will have the opportunity to enjoy the South's incredible biodiversity instead of pine plantations.
